Aromatherapy massage, balancing and healing, for relaxation and stress relief.
Aromatherapy massage, an excellent natural therapy for relaxation
and to reduce stress, the benefits of therapeutic massage are enhanced
with essential oils. The client is encouraged to drift into a peaceful
state of relaxation for invigoration and upliftment or rest and rehabilitation.
Aromatherapy is the use of liquid plant materials and other aromatic compounds to encourage a balance of mind, body and spirit. A client consultation is important to learn about your medical history, general health and lifestyle. This will determine which essential oils are most appropriate for you as an individual. After selecting and blending appropriate aromatherapy essential oils, your aromatherapist will usually apply the oils in combination with massage. A session normally lasts for 60 to 90 minutes. You will be given a large towel and only the part of your body being massaged will be exposed.
Essential oils are pure, volatile, concentrated essences from plants; these essences can be up to 70 times more concentrated that the plants they come from.
Because of the high concentration, they must be used with great care.
Aromatherapy essential oils can have many natural therapeutic benefits, such as antiseptic, detoxifying, decongestant, expectorant, balancing and pain relieving qualities. They can also help the skin and may boost the immune system.
Some essential oils prove to be very relaxing and combined with therapeutic massage may be useful when you are feeling stressed or low. Some oils prove to be uplifting and may help to lift your mood. An appropriate aromatherapy blend will be made for you to help relax and/or uplift you and to help you balance. Some oils resonate very deeply and are excellent grounding oils and are particularly useful for those suffering from major stress.
Aromatherapy, combined with therapeutic massage may be helpful for stress relief, relaxation and natural healing
